Was over at my neighbor’s house and saw these Magnolia buds just starting to form. They almost look like some kind of fuzzy material, but what beautiful flowers eventually they become!
My settings were ISO 400, f/9, 1/250 sec at 200mm (70-300mm). I cloned out a distracting leaf and sharpened only the bud to make it pop a little more. No other editing applied. Not even any Topaz this time! 🙂

Nicely done, Judy. Very elegant and classy. I love the red seeds that eventually pop out. They are so deep and vibrant red. Nicely composed to. Great idea to just sharpen the bud.

Nicely captured and edited. The softness around the bud is very pretty and creates a beautiful bud focal point! The green tones are soothing!
