Angry Anole

This Anole looked so angry.  Guess he didn’t like me shoving my camera in his face.  I just love these little guys.  They look so beautiful delicate and sleek when they are green.  Except when you shove a camera in their face then they look like a grumpy old man. 🙂  Shot with my Olympus TG4 on microscope mode.  Settings were iso800, 18mm, f4.9, 1/250sec.  Cropped, boost contrast, and denoised it.

    1. Glad you liked it. I used to have a gecko when I was a kid. When I was younger I would catch the anole’s and place them on something brown to watch them turn brown then put them on something green to watch them turn green. Now these mean looking brown lizards are taking over so when I see a green anole I get a excited and take their photo. Have a great weekend.

  1. Hahaha! Excellent POV! Nice focus on the eyes and DOF. I love it!! I don’t know how you managed to get him to remain green and stay still for his portrait! 😀 Not an easy task with these skittish little lizards.
