One Step at a Time

This woman’s name is Stacey Kozel and she’s an amazing woman! We met her at the Newfound Gap overlook in Tennessee. She is doing a solo hike of the Appalachian Trail, which is a feat all in of itself, but Stacey’s legs are paralyzed! However, with the computer assisted leg braces she is wearing, she is able to walk! She has a great, positive attitude and is very friendly…I’m sure you can tell that by her beautiful smile! Stacey has a Facebook page…look her up and like her!

Update:  The photo editor of “Arthritis Today” contacted me and asked if he could use this photo for an article about Stacey’s AT journey. It appeared in the October 2016 issue.
